Lotlsoft Labs keeps the data you give it. We let you export and delete it.
Lotlsoft Labs stores the data you give it to provide the service. You can export everything and delete your account at any time.
What we collect
We collect and store the following:
- What was asked of the API — When something calls the machine-readable endpoint, we record which tool it called, how many results came back, how long it took, and, for a search, the words it searched for. There is nothing attached to identify the caller: no address, no account, no session, and nothing that links one call to the next. We record it because whether anyone uses a free evidence tool a second time is the question this experiment exists to answer, and the API page says so rather than leaving you to find out. The words searched are a query against published quotes on a public page, so they say something about what agents want from this dataset and nothing about who asked.
- Your email address, if you give us one — Only if you use the signup form. Labs passes the address straight to Lotl Subscribe, which runs the Lotlsoft updates list, and keeps no copy of its own: there is no subscriber table in this app, and nothing is written to disk here. Lotl Subscribe then emails you a confirmation link, and nothing at all happens unless you click it. Every email it sends carries a one-click unsubscribe, and its own privacy page covers what it holds. If the relay fails we record that a signup failed, never the address it was for.
Your rights
You can export everything we hold about you, and delete your account at any time. Both options live in your account settings. Deletion is immediate and unrecoverable.
